During her travels, Shifting and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Shifting discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Shifting fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. After a long history of fighting, Rurik and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. In her 13th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and further expansion of business
