Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Dondon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Hunter lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He married young, but lost his spouse to giants. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nordak grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
