He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying brother.

History: Born in the north to a Map Maker, Dagger learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He became a Map Maker soon after.

History: Born to a Mayor, her father struggled to pay the bills. In her youth she was a Mayor, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger brother on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mardred fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
