History: He was born at the edge of vast island. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. Personality: River hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. River fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
