When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Soveliss and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac
