Personality: Gerbo wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Bard, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Gerbo lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shoemaker. He has achieved small success as a Shoemaker.

History: Therlin was born the youngest of three triplets. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
