History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Description: He dresses in grey turtlenecks beneath a violet coat with yellow slacks. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His hair is short and golden. He has a dull look in his gray eyes.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Aldous was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. After a long history of fighting, Aldous and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. Manea enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. At a young age her mother died while driving off some brigands. Her father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in scythe use. She became a Navigator soon after.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and a deep hatred of brigands

Description: 5'2" and muscular, this southern woman dresses like a well dressed Courier does. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. Her violet eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with writing. She constantly tries to fill her life with writing. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and money/treasure
