Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. The war was a terrible time for him, and Mhurren does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting orcs, the young Mhurren began to lead the lost caravan. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She comes from a rich western family. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Gruk decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
