Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: She was born into a rich family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and her religion dominates her actions

Description: This woman does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. She has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized ruby on her right hand. Her hair is red and curly. Her green eyes peer out from beneath her broad red hat.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. The war was a terrible time for her, and Merla does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Merla was born on a far eastern mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Scribe. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents enrolled him in a Monk school at a young age so that he could practice his divine talents. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
