History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered singing. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: Born in the west to a Soapmaker, Shamash learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
