Biri decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gifted student she started as a Sage, but she got bored and became a Miner. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Flame was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
