Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Aldous lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shava grew up listening to her father's many stories. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Motivation: She's in love; and she has a crush on the local sculptor

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Body Guard. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away.
