History: Born to a Sellsword, her mother struggled to pay the bills. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 8 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Portia never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Personality: Skog is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
