History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. After coming to the age of reason, Windy took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her father.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
