However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Description: He is an average looking western male in his early mid-life. He wears bulky black painted plate armor. His hair, while still mostly blue, has prominent grey streaks. His silver eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Balam was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Morana was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her childhood dream was to be a Server, but she was a colossal failure. She became a Performer soon after.
