Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Zepar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Zepar was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Glassblower. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born in the west to a Cartwright, Jezean learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She's also a talented Bookbinder, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
