History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bernard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Fletcher. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Phann was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.
