History: Shanairla was born the youngest of three triplets. She found a children's book about a Half-Elf Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature morningstar.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Shágflak was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered dire rats who tried to eat his hand. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and nothing but the best is good enough for her
