History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Birel was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Birel's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has achieved small success as a Cook.

History: Born in the west to a Bricklayer, Oren learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. After months of barely getting by, Oren managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.
