Through the years after Vonana was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Sage but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born in the north to a Sage, Shaena learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

This brown eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered poetry. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

He sports a long red beard, and similarly colored long hair. His hazel eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born in the south. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
