History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Flask grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Description: She is a physically imposing light-skinned woman. She wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. She has shaved her head bald. She has several tiny amber earrings on each ear.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Ida's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the west.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears dark leathers with embroidery. He has wavy golden hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. The war was a terrible time for him, and Bertram does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After a long history of fighting, Bertram and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Description: A woman with a cold, calculating air about her, she is renowned for her bright red dresses and hats. Her red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her hazel eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Georgina embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. Georgina is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Georgina grew up listening to her father's many stories. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature spear.
