The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Az-Rans took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up flail and armor he uses now. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Slave Trader they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Roofer, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When Therai reached his early adolescence his Tiefling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gerald is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gerald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A freak accident while working with his Weaver mother left him crippled. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
