History: She was born on a small isolated farm. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to unite with his sister
