History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Veloptima alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by drow. Veloptima was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the drow.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Fisher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Flask enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
