History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tieflings became a terror of the countryside. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Bryseis was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
