History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Description: This slender woman stands about 5'6". She is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and white, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. She keeps her long red hair kept up in a rat tail. Her black eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Akta grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Akta. She got money to start a business from the gang present in town. She is greatly indebted to them.
