Description: She appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 5'4". She wears a fine chain shirt which she covers with brown colored cloaks and clothing, and her gloved hand is found clutching a mace. Her silver hair is smooth and relatively long. Her fierce brown eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: Matilda is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.
History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.
History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She worked as a nervous Sailor and found it very stressful. She has worked as a Sailor like her mother before her.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and a strong sense of loyalty to halfling people

Description: He is an average looking western male in his early mid-life. He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His silver hair is lengthy. This gray eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Description: He wears baggy grey pantaloons and a green scarf, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'2" when asserting himself. His auburn hair is still thick. This blue eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: Ernest is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.
History: He was born at the edge of vast island. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he is greedy
