History: Rael was born the youngest of three triplets. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. He found a children's book about a Tabaxi Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: Baelitae lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.
