History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Nelkin's homeland. Nelkin decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nelkin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born in a small island village. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Spear took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up hammer and armor she uses now. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.
