Personality: The woman has a huge range of feeling. She will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how she will be a better person from this day on. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Claira hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: This man loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Duergath grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Duergath. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
