History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Thiala was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Shamil took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up trident and armor she uses now. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day
