History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Emmeline was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her martial abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Ruler for hire.

Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: Jacoba lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Stableman. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Harbek grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 6'1" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She is wearing a long, green cloak. Her rusty crest, when down, is lengthy. Her gold eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
