Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Courier they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Banker, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dragonborns in Donaar's homeland. Donaar decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
