Personality: Mardred wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Monk, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was born at the edge of vast forest. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. She found a children's book about a Halfling Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Half-Elven artifacts is her passion.

History: She is a Hag in disguise. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Miner for the past few years.

Motivation: To unite with her sister; and she desires power and/or immortality

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Barber. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
