Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Born in the west to a Mason, Merla learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Mason work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mason work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She struck the Mason job and began her own company from there.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Tyna was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Tyna decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Dilettante kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Numba grew up listening to her father's many stories. She found a children's book about a Gnome Warlock who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
