History: Mardnab hails from a village terrorized by drow. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mardnab fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Morana was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dwarven conditions. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Vani alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
