His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: Havilar was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Personality: Shivering speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Born in the east to a Dilettante, Shivering learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She found a children's book about a Tabaxi Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Tod took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up sai and armor he uses now. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.
