History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He became a Banker soon after.

History: Gifted from a young age, Harriet studied abroad. Harriet was born on a far southern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Cartwright. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.
