However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Portia hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Portia alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: She was raised in a forest tribe. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She bought a ceremonial dagger and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. When Maynild reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
