Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: Vicky hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: Valida lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hand crossbow.
