Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Through the years after Nyx was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Nyx's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She now mingles about in high society.

Description: He tends to wear a black poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. He carries with him a set of glaives, each one with a opal on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His brown eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He got into the Beggar business at a young age. His first spouse was a Sage, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He struck the Beggar job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and doesn't want to be a beggar and was forced into it by his family
