Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Cumpen grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Cumpen. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Mercenary arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
