History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Veloptima grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with writing. She constantly tries to fill her life with writing. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He bought a hand crossbow and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She became a Cartwright soon after.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and balancing her hectic life and new cartwright responsibilities is difficult
