History: Liftrasa lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. The war was a terrible time for her, and Shava does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. After coming to the age of reason, Shava took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
