History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born in the north to a Performer, Kathra learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Performer for hire.
