History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Meriele took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up sword and armor she uses now. She's also a talented Servant, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Emeny alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by orcs. Emeny was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the orcs.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. In her youth she was a Baker, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger sister on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Aline fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Great was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Mayor. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
