It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She wears a blue shirt, with a brown mid length skirt with brown tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. She has styled her chestnut hair well, parting it to the left. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep blue.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. The war was a terrible time for her, and Abalaba does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When Abalaba reached her early adolescence her Gnome mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

His hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Zogdûsh grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.
