History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Shepherd responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. Through the years after Thakrak was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Thakrak's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has worked as a Bather like his father before him.

Personality: Jade is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Jade was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Guard. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
