History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: This late middle aged man wears dull tan sweaters, loose black pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed quarterstaff, just in case and is in decent physical shape. He has wavy chestnut hair. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. After coming to the age of reason, Burgell took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Burgell was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Description: She is a physically imposing dark-skinned woman. She prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady. Her silver hair is cut short. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and doesn't want to be a beggar and was forced into it by her family

Description: This dark-skinned female wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath her coat. She is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. She has dyed her greying brown hair a little too much giving a sharp brown color. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: Mumpena was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Warlock, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Warlock in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Half-Orc companion (her 'brother'). She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Cartwright responsibilities is difficult.
