History: Srorthen hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He now owns his own business.

History: Born to a Dilettante, her father struggled to pay the bills. She found a children's book about a Tiefling Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers.

History: She was born in the south. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the south were limited. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and she is unsatisfied with her job
